Become an Expert Code Breaker at Hurst Castle
Hurst Castle is encouraging young code breakers to investigate the system of Morse code and become expert code breakers!
Follow a trail through the castle grounds, picking up the clues along the way, and decipher the code word to win a prize. Learn all about the castle’s involvement in World War One and Two, and the origins of Morse code itself.
The trail is included in your castle admission. Hurst Castle is open 7 days a week from 10am-5.30pm ad available daily until the school summer holidays when our next trail will be running.
Why not start your family adventure and take a leisurely ferry to the castle? Ferries depart daily from Keyhaven at 10am and then approximately every 20-30 minutes.
