We look forward to welcoming you to Hurst Castle.
Come and discover one of the best days out in the New Forest and visit this artillery fortress built by Henry VIII. With plenty of open space for children to explore and fantastic views of the Isle of Wight, Hurst Castle is a must for visitors to this area.
The heart of the castle – Henry VIII’s Tudor keep – remains open whilst English Heritage coordinates a major project to protect the east and west wings, which remain closed. The price of admission has been reduced accordingly. For more information on the project, see English Heritage
Hurst Castle is managed by Hurst Marine on behalf of English Heritage, who care for over 400 historic monuments, buildings and places.
